Kids Bazaar in Shanghai

Thursday was my very first market experience where I sold my crocheted hats! It was a beautiful sunny day and the turnout was excellent. I got a lot of positive feed back and sold a good amount if hats.

I can't get enough of these newborn sized sleepy animal hats! They are just so precious.

Barefoot Portraits, Shanghai

Today I dropped off a few of my favorite hats to Don, a photographer here in Shanghai. He offered to help me promote my hats in exchange for me to let him keep some of my hats at his studio. With hats, flyers, business cards and baby in tow, I hailed a taxi and made my way to his studio. I look forward to sharing his pictures on my blog in the next few weeks!

Fun with buttons!

Today a friend of mine took me to the "accessories market" in Shanghai, China where I found hundreds of buttons to embellish my crocheted hats! Check out these large wooden buttons I bought for only 80 cents!

Now that the holidays are over, the kids are headed back to school. In addition to backpacks, they all seem to be wearing something in common: crocheted animal hats! It’s certainly a hot new trend for the little ones, as evidenced right here on Craftsy where many of the crafters in our community have been busy crocheting animal hats for children of all ages. New Blog

Hello there!  This is the first post in the new blog for Crocheted Hats by Annemarie.  I am excited to be able to post all my new creations as well as share photos from some happy customers... and quite cute ones at that!
